By checking the consent box on our signup form, you agree to receive SMS messages from AccountableME, including accountability nudges, goal reminders, and product updates.
Here's what to expect:
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You can use AccountableME without SMS -- in-app notifications will still function normally.
When you sign up for the AccountableME beta, we collect your email address and, if you opt in to SMS, your phone number (collected during onboarding). If you create an account, we also collect the goals you set, check-in data, and your accountability partner preferences.
We use this information to operate the product, send you the nudges and notifications you've opted into, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate AccountableME:
Your accountability partner can see whether you've checked in on shared goals and your Integrity Score -- that's the product working as designed. They cannot see your private goals or any data you haven't explicitly shared.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@accountableme.net.
